The Art of Blending

With powder blenders, modeling requires a combination of heuristics, experience and experimentation. Agitating a mixture longer and faster will not always result in a homogeneous blend. Blending that appears uniform may degrade into turbulence, causing ingredients to separate into layers.

Environment

APS provides high quality cGMP compliant manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment. Our HEPA air filters are designed to eliminate microbial and cross-contamination. Due to the enormous product stability benefits, all of APS produced blends receive our standard nitrogen purging procedure.

Capacity

Depending on the ingredient density, we can blend between 120 lbs (60 Kg) and 1,800 lbs (900 Kg) per batch.

APS also offers small batch runs for new formulations with complex properties in order to minimize the risk of a product failure and to reduce developing cost.

In addition, all capsules will be polished in a multi-stage process, individually inspected, bulk packaged and documented.

Capacity

The minimum production run starts at 100,000 capsules and is virtually limited by the batch size of the filling.

APS offers manual capsule filling for small batch runs in order to minimize the risk of a product failure and to reduce developing cost.
